Terubuk Masin Lemak Cili Api Dgn Nenas

This is the dish that I brought to the gathering. Simple n easy... kampung style. I choosed this because no 'hard work' needed Such a lazy mama...



1 big size whole salted ikan terubuk from Sarawak - cut into pieces
1 whole young pineapple - discard the skin and slice
1 handful of cili padi
3 pcs thumb sized turmeric
500 ml thick santan (coconut milk)
1-2 cups water

Soak cut fish in the water for a while. Clean all excess salt. Drain and put aside.
Put sliced pineapple in a big pot. Pound or blend chillies and turmeric well together. Put in the pot with pineapple. Thin santan can be added.
Cook on slow fire untill the pineapple soft. Throw in the fish and pour thick santan in. Add in water as desire (depends on the thickness of the gravy desired). Keep stirring till the fish cook well. Off fire.
