We had guests yesterday evening, my brother in law (my hubby's brother) and family. So, I baked this yummy chewy ghewy brownies (Mas E.'s recipe) for them as they are chocolate lovers. I had to omit the nuts because the children hate them but the taste still eemmmm.... yummy!!! I saw they enjoy eating the brownies with ganache on some of it.

I attached the recipe here for you to try it out, ok... Enjoy!!!

MY CHEWY GOOEY YUMMY BROWNIES


250g butter - potong kecik
400g chocolate - potong kecik

6 eggs
340g brown sugar
2tsp esen vanilla
20g chocolate emulco

80g tepung gandum
60g cocoa powder
140g kacang walnut/pecan/almond/macadamia (optional) - toasted

1. Panaskan oven suhu 160C. Sediakan dan alas tray 11X11.
2. Double boil butter dan chocolate hingga cair, ketepikan biar suam sikit.
3. Masukkan telur, gula, esen dan chocolate emulco dalam satu mangkuk, guna hand whisk , kacau hingga gula cair.
4. Tuang adunan butter dan coklat tadi kedalam mangkuk dan gaul rata.
5. Ayak tepung gandum dan cocoa powder, jika bubuh kacang, masukkan dan gaul. Tuang tepung kedalam mangkuk diatas, gaul hingga rata. Jangan gaul terlalu lama.
6. Tuang dalam tray dan bakar 160C/50 minit-1jam (bergantung pd oven).
7. Bila masak, biarkan dalam tray hingga sejuk. Lebih sedap kalau disimpan semalaman.
8. Sedap dimakan sama ada begitu shj atau bubuh ganache atau dgn icecream atau dgn sos kastad.­

Nilah hasilnya setelah ditrial and tested 3 kali, 1st try, rasa okay but still cake like, 2nd try rasa okay but tak puas hati gak sebab tak dapat texture yang dense, so after the 3rd try alhamdulillah, good but if rajin nak try lagi sikittttt dense­ tapi yang ni pon mas buat habis in a flash, ­guna 11X11 tray jadi nipis around 1inci± , if nak guna 10X10 akan jadi lebih tinggi dan tambah masa dalam 10-15minit masa bakar.
Tapi utk this type of brownies, it should not be too thick, kena potong pon small squares je, (jadi kedekut) bukannya apa, pasal dense and chewy and gooey, u try and u know wat I mean, ­ceh wah confident je­. please do give me your feedback so that mas boleh tahu apa yang perlu diperbaiki lagi on this recipe­.
Beza dgn yang first resepi hari tu ialah ada tiga bahan tak diguna iaitu fresh milk, baking powder dan baking soda­. Option boleh masuk kacang tapi my children tak suka nuts...

diba: thanks sbb menerai... bukan mmg begitu ke texture nya? Mmg biasa kalau makan brownies ada liat2 sikit... brownies ni bukan kek bukan biskut dia ditengah2... masa akak buat ari tu, akak omit kan kekacang sbb bebudak ni bila makan dibuangnya kacang2 tu... sayangggg...
