Talapia Goreng Kicap

I made this for dinner sometime last week with help from my beloved hubby. He fried the fish and prepared the ingredients. Simple dish for people who never had enough time for anything like me . As I told before, my everyday tasks is catching up each other. So, hope this recipe will help others too.

Talapia In Dark Soy Sauce

1 whole freshwater talapia - sprinkle with turmeric powder n salt n fry
1 onion - sliced
cili padi (small chillies) or red chillies as required - sliced
1 in ginger - thinly sliced
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 cup Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Vinegar or Lime Juice
sugar to taste (optional)

Heat the cooking oil in a pan. Throw in the onion, chillies n ginger. Fry till u smell the aroma or till u sneeze . Add in soy sauce and stir. Add in vinegar/lime juice. Stir it to mix well. Off the fire.
Put your fish in a serving dish. Pour the sauce on it.
Ready to serve your stomach...
