Patin Berlado

We reached home at 7 today - from work straight to Along's and Iman's school to fetch them up. I already had on my mind to cook something for dinner. Ikan Patin Bercili - Sg Pahang mari ooooooo... Hubby quickly cooked rice and me, as always just instruct him this and that... hahaha... what a wife la kan... actually, the fish was ready to be cooked. Mix with turmeric powder and fry. Pound some garlic, fry and put in blended chillies, vinegar, little bit of sugar and salt to taste. Ready to eat. This is our main dish for dinner.



1 whole ikan patin (around 600 gm) - cleaned
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1/2 tbsp salt
3 cloves garlic - pounded
1 big onions - sliced
2 scoops of blended chillies
1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
salt to taste
Cooking oil

Mix the patin with turmeric powder and salt. Bring to fry until golden & little bit crispy. Keep aside.
Heat 3 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan. Fry the garlic till golden, put in the chillies (blended) stir-fry till the chillies a bit dry.
Add in vinegar, sugar and salt. Add in the sliced onion and the patin. Mix well.
Ready to serve.
